What better way to start September off by making this EASY, FAST, HEALTHY AND DELICIOUS cinnamon roll that is gluten free & dairy free! I was really excited to make this recipe because I did not feel like rolling, patting, and doing all the dough that you have to do when you make the original Cinnabon. I was even more excited when I tasted how delicious it is. This will be your new favorite snack/dessert or even breakfast since its oats. 😉
Recipe-
Blend together:
1/2 cup of rolled oats
1/3 cup of plant based milk (I used almond milk)
1/2 banana
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp maple syrup
1/4 tsp baking powder
MIX separately in bowl for cinnamon swirl:
1 tsp coconut sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp coconut oil
Now pour the oats mixture from blender into a small dish, swirl and mix the cinnamon swirl into the oats. (refer to my reel on instagram for a video instruction)
After mixing place in oven on 350 degrees for 22 minutes or golden brown.
While it’s baking make the frosting.
Frosting-
Mix together in a small bowl
1/4 cup of powdered sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla
1.5 tsp coconut oil
Taste test! The frosting should be delicious and sweet.
When cinnamon roll is out of oven pour on top, immediately the frosting.
