Halloween gf, df, vegan rice crispies

Spooky season can still happen if you’re dairy free, gluten free AND vegan. 👻🎃

I made these DELICIOUS rice crispies treats and to be festive cookie I bought ghost and pumpkin cookie cutters and shaped them.

I used dandies vegan marshmallows, Lilys dark chocolate & white chocolate baking chips. Miyokos vegan butter and arrowhead mills brown rice puffs. 

Melt 1/3 cup of vegan butter in a large pot on the stove on medium heat. 

Add in the 10 Oz bag of marshmallows. 

Stir together and mix until soft and gooey. I realized the vegan marshmallows don’t mix as fast as the “original” marshmallows. This may take a bit. 

Stir and fold in 5 cups of rice puffs “Rice Krispies” 

Transfer to baking dish. 

Put in refrigerator for a couple hours or until hard. 

When cooled cut into squares & then cookie cut the Rice Krispies. 

Melt the white chocolate in a large bowl & dip each Rice Krispies in it. 

Add on eyes & mouth by slicing the Lilys dark chocolate in half leaving them flat.
